Tool Development Specialist, The Smart Campaign
Ms. Wardle is a microfinance consultant working with the Smart Campaign of the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion. She develops tools for MFIs to improve their client protection practices and leads trainings on client protection. Additionally, Ms. Wardle is the Deputy Director of the Social Performance Task Force, a global network devoted to defining and improving social performance in microfinance. She has also consulted to the Small Enterprise and Promotion Network (SEEP)’s Financial Reporting Standards project. Previously, Ms. Wardle was the director of social performance management for Haiti’s largest MFI, Fonkoze. She speaks Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Ms. Wardle holds bachelor’s degrees in English and sociology from the University of Notre Dame and master’s degrees in public policy and Latin American studies from the University of Texas at Austin.
