Kettianne Cadet

IMG 27402Program Coordinator, Investing in Inclusive Finance

In her role as the Program Coordinator, Kettianne supports the Investing in Inclusive Finance program area, working on a variety of different projects focused around governance, risk and investing in financial inclusion institutions. Based in the Cambridge office, she engages with various industry players through the coordination of the Financial Inclusion Equity Council. Additionally, she provides support for the Africa Board Fellowship, a new fellowship program that connects board members and CEOs through peer learning and exchange to strengthen the governance of financial institutions serving low-income clients in sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining Accion, Kettianne served as a Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellow in Port au Prince, Haiti working for Haiti’s Ministry of Women’s Affairs. As a Fulbright Clinton Fellow, Kettianne’s objective was to provide technical assistance on projects and activities that focused on the promotion of gender equality, the elimination of Gender Based Violence and the empowerment of women in Haiti. Previously she worked as a mediator and negotiation trainer for Mediation Works Incorporated, a negotiation and dispute resolution firm.She has also worked in France as an English instructor as part of an initiative on behalf of the French Ministry of Education and the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.

Kettianne received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and in French from Boston College and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. She speaks fluent French and Haitian Creole and is proficient in Spanish.
