Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to the HBS–Accion Program on Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance, you must be a senior executive of a retail microfinance institution, banking institution, or other organization interested in microfinance or an industry-related policymaker, regulator, or investor. The Admissions Committee will take into account the characteristics of your institution and will strive for geographic diversity within the group of participants. Selective enrollment of the most qualified and diverse group from the pool of candidates enhances the learning experience for participants and the takeaway value for their supporting organizations. In seeking participants with demonstrated ability and promise, the Admissions Committee takes into account a candidate's organizational level; management experience, particularly in general management; and career goals. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for the completion of course assignments and active engagement in fast-moving discussions.
